Unless otherwise agreed, the following terms and conditions apply when booking our services. If you have any questions, feel free to contact your personal makeup artist at name@brudmakeup.se.


You can find the current price list here. We reserve the right to make price changes. Bookings made before these changes will be honored at the agreed-upon price.



We travel to the agreed-upon location for trials and wedding. When you hire us, we make sure to match you with a makeup artist based on your needs and preferences, taking into account where you live or where you will be getting married to keep travel costs down.

Travel expenses at 6 SEK/km will be added to all prices, unless otherwise agreed upon. If your personal makeup artist/s needs to travel for more than 2 hours one way, we will agree on a package price that includes travel and accommodation. For destination weddings abroad, see below.

You submit your inquiry via our forms, which you can access through the 'book'-button under each makeup artist (see here). Please note that by filling out the form, you are sending us an inquiry. The booking is not completed or binding until you confirm it and the down payment is made.

Once we receive your inquiry, you will receive a quote/booking confirmation via email from your personal makeup artist. When we receive confirmation from you that you want to proceed with the booking, you will receive an invoice for the down payment.

Unless otherwise agreed, a down payment of half the amount must be received by us within 7 days from the invoice date. Once the down payment is made, the booking is binding for both parties. The down payment is deducted from the total amount, and the remaining amount must be received by us no later than 14 days before the wedding. The due date is stated on the invoice.

Note! Please be aware that the booking is not valid until the down payment is made and that we cannot guarantee availability on the desired date if payment is not made on time.


We charge a booking fee (a so called down payment) to make ourselves available for one wedding date and for the booking to be binding. It is a security and a guarantee for both parties that the booking is confirmed. The down payment does not entail an extra fee, but is deducted from the total amount. The down payment is non-refundable except for a 14-day right of withdrawal.


You will receive an invoice via email from your personal makeup artist. Please note the due date.

For payments from abroad, an administrative fee of 100 SEK per payment will be added.


If you would like to make changes to your booking for a smaller bridal package or fewer services after we have received the down payment, it will be done in agreement with your personal makeup artist. We reserve the right to decline assignments that do not meet the minimum booking size, especially during high season. If your inquiry does not meet the requirements, we will notify you by email.


The purpose of the trial is for you to try out your preferences for both makeup and hairstyling. We allocate about 2-4 hours for the trial depending on the bridal package (see what is included in each bridal package here). If you wish for additional time during the trial, there is an additional fee of 900 SEK per started hour.

During the trial, we go through your preferences, preliminary planning of time and layout for the services during the wedding preparations. We also try out different makeup preferences (half/half face) and simplified versions of the desired hairstyling/updo.

We recommend booking the trial about 4-8 weeks before the wedding. Time and date will you agree upon with your personal makeup artist. We reserve the right to decline trials during weekends, especially during the high season from May to October.


It is your responsibility to inform us of any allergies or sensitivities.

If you are concerned about allergic reactions, we can try out your desired makeup during the trial to evaluate any potential reactions. If there is something you are sensitive to, we will address it by replacing or avoiding certain products. We always discuss with you how to best handle it. If you know which products or substances you are allergic or sensitive to, please inform us so that we can prepare the makeup based on your specific needs.


You have a 14-day right of withdrawal. The withdrawal period is calculated from the day after you entered the agreement. If you wish to cancel your purchase, notify your personal makeup artist by email within 14 days. The down payment will be refunded.

Please note that the right of withdrawal does not apply if our work is started or performed within 14 days from the booking.


If you have any feedback or complaints, please contact your personal makeup artist as soon as possible so that we have the opportunity to assist you, rectify any errors or compensate you.

Your feedback makes us become better makeup artists! Therefore, after the wedding, we are grateful if you'd like to take the time to briefly tell us what you were satisfied with, what you think worked well and what we could have done better. If for any reason you need to reschedule or cancel an assignment, the following applies:

  • Amendments and cancellations of assignments are made in writing via email to your personal makeup artist.

  • The down payment is non-refundable except for a 14-day right of withdrawal.

  • In case of rescheduling the trial, please notify your personal Makeup Artist as soon as possible and preferably no later than 24 hours before the booked time. Otherwise, we may need to charge you for incurred costs and any additional costs that may arise from rescheduling.

  • For rescheduling wedding assignments, please notify us as soon as possible and no later than 30 days before the wedding date. Otherwise, you will be charged the full fee for the wedding assignment. We cannot guarantee a rescheduling, but we will do our best. A rescheduling fee of 1,700 SEK will be added. We only have the opportunity to make one rescheduling. If the date for the wedding assignment needs to be moved again, you will need to submit a new inquiry.

  • For cancellation of wedding assignments, please notify us no later than 30 days before the booked wedding date. Otherwise, you will be charged the full fee for the wedding assignment. The down payment will not be refunded, but no additional costs beyond the agreed-upon ones will be added.

  • For cancellation of other services, please notify us no later than 30 days before the booked wedding date. Otherwise, you will be charged the full fee for the services. The down payment will not be refunded, but no additional costs beyond the agreed-upon ones will be added.

  • If you have booked wedding assignments and other services within 30 days before the wedding date, you will be charged the full fee for the assignment in case of rescheduling or cancellation.

If your personal makeup artist needs to reschedule for any reason, you will be notified as soon as possible and if possible no later than 24 hours before the booked time.

In case of impediment, illness, or other unforeseen event, we will do everything we can to ensure that a replacement is available. If we are unable to arrange a replacement ("knock on wood"), the fee for work not performed will be refunded.


By filling out the contact form, you consent to the storage and processing of the personal data you provided by Brudmakeup.se when you have an active customer relationship with us. We only collect and store the information necessary for us to:

  • Respond to your inquiry with a quote and booking confirmation,
  • Provide you with good service and answer your questions about our services,
  • Carry out your booking and deliver the requested service/s,
  • Communicate with you via telephone, email, or other contact methods such as social media.

We do not send out any advertising!

The processing is carried out in accordance with applicable legislation, which means that we do not store your personal data for longer than is necessary for the purposes. As soon as the assignment is completed and our contact is concluded, all your information will be deleted.

We would be delighted if you would like to share pictures from the wedding with us so that we can publish them on our website and/or on our social media platforms. We always ask for your and the photographer's permission before doing so. If you change your mind and want us to remove the pictures, just let us know.

You have the right to request the deletion of your data or to restrict its use. Contact your personal makeup artist or the responsible person for Brudmakeup.se at info [a] brudmakeup.se if you have such requests.




We are operating as usual and intend to fulfill all our bookings to the extent possible, but due to the circumstances, we want to inform you of the precautions we are taking.

The information will be updated as needed. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We are following the general advice and recommendations of the Public Health Agency in Sweden to prevent the spread of infection. Therefore, we ask our customers for extra caution and urge everyone to inform us if you or someone in your immediate vicinity is unwell. The same applies to our makeup artists. We stay at home if we feel unwell or have symptoms and are flexible in rescheduling trial appointments. If your personal MUA becomes ill, we do everything we can to find a replacement within the team.

During the trial appointment, we prefer to only meet the bride-to-be.

During the wedding preparations, we kindly request that not too many people be present in the same room, in order to maintain distance and avoid potential spread of infection as much as possible.


We fully understand the concerns that exist, but unfortunately, we cannot provisionally book any dates or guarantee any rescheduling.

We encourage all our customers to carefully read through our terms and conditions above, contact us with any questions, and notify us well in advance in case of rescheduling or cancellation to avoid the risk of incurring additional costs.


Hygiene routines are among the most important things for us - not only in times like these, but always - as we work so closely with our customers. Since the pandemic, we are extra cautious.

We always maintain good hygiene! We wash and sanitize our hands regularly before and during assignments, and we clean and disinfect all our brushes/tools and work surfaces before and during our assignments. We never use the same brushes or tools on multiple people without thoroughly disinfecting them. You can feel confident that we always use disposable brushes for mascara, new makeup sponges for each new client, clean brushes and tools, etc., to keep everything hygienic and prevent the spread of viruses and bacteria. When it comes to makeup and products, we carefully follow hygiene routines to avoid spreading infection.
